About
Ready, Set, Go

The Ready, Set, Go Conference is an all-volunteer initiative led by survivors, healthcare providers, researchers, and students working to improve how people experience cancer care.

The first conference, held near Chicago, brought together nearly 100 participants for engaging panels and community conversations centered on navigating cancer care, understanding clinical trials, advocating for themselves and their loved ones, and supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer. Participants were connected with healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates in an inclusive environment focused on education, empowerment, and support.

In addition to discussions and panels, attendees explored community resource tables, engaged in interactive activities, and built meaningful connections with others affected by cancer. Attendees reported feeling more informed, empowered, and connected as a result of the conference.

Building on that momentum, the Ready, Set, Go Conference is expanding to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in partnership with local organizations committed to improving cancer care and support.
