Chelsea currently serves as the Early Intervention Ombudsman in Illinois and provides technical assistance to system stakeholders to improve results for children and families.

 

Chelsea has served in a variety of roles in early intervention, including family member. She has a long history of service to those who are experiencing developmental and/or health challenges and hopes that her experiences in nonprofit work can benefit the Center. In addition, Chelsea has both friends and family members who have been touched by cancer or chronic illness and knows the important role that nutrition plays in healing. This knowledge fuels her desire to make sure that others have the food they need to support their treatment.
